Restaurant
established in 1965 and passed
on down through 4 generations
of the Dallara family. It
was opened many years ago
by Granny Cerina, who also
gave her name to the restaurant
and today the business is
run by her descendents and
her sisters, Graziella and
Rosanna, with the precious
help of their sons, Vincenzo,
the wine expert, and Piergiorgio,
the chef.
The environment
is friendly
and informal.
It is split
into the spacious main
room, the restaurant
areas and a
smaller environment
dedicated to
the Osteria.
A large terrace
is furnished
with rustic
wooden tables
laid with yellow
paper napkins,
typical of
osterias, where
in the evening
it is possible
to come just
for a drink. |
In
this corner of the premises,
theme evenings are often
organised, with wine,
food and live music.
At the back of the premises
is the garden, full of
plants, where, in summer,
guests can eat outside
and enjoy the delicious
dishes on the menu in
the cool of the evening
air. The restaurant prepares
strictly fresh produce
from the local countryside,
which change with the
passing of the seasons.
The menu is
in fact changed
every day.
The restaurant
also has a
wood oven where
not only the
roasts are
cooked but
also the bread
and “focacce” that
accompany the
food.
These are of
course hand
made by the
women of the
house, as is
the pasta and
traditional
piadina.
